This person needs to be self-motivated, with high energy, exceptional communication and people skills, with the ability manage internal staff while negotiating and closing deals with new prospect clients. SUMMARY:
The Regional Operations and Sales Manager is responsible for hiring, coaching, mentoring and providing direction to all Jibe internal associates while identifying, prospecting and securing business opportunities to support new revenue growth for a specific geographic area. This includes overall responsibility for: 1) Developing and implementing sales strategies for new account prospects, active and inactive client accounts, 2) Working with Executive & Field Management to plan, conduct and follow up on sales activities, and 3) Achieving profit results in assigned areas consistent with predetermined forecasts/ expectations.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Appropriately staff and manage the Jibe branch operation(s) to achieve targeted goals, client service and fiscal expectations by hiring, coaching, mentoring and providing direction to all Jibe internal associates.
* Analyze all reports, utilizing the information to determine areas of improvement for the Jibe branch, and/or organization.
* Identify prospects and develop sales strategies to secure new business. This may include sales calls, competitive analysis, coordination of presentations and proposals, in-office demonstrations, direct mail campaigns, and follow up activity.
* Conduct prospect, active and inactive account sales calls independently and jointly with branch office staff and management as prioritized by Manager.
* Functions as lead and primary sales resource on identified target accounts and is responsible for creating the account plan.
* Responsible for coordinating the approach and communication strategy of new and reactivated client accounts to responsible branch office(s).
* Provides additional sales expertise and partners with branch staff as a dedicated sales resource to enhance sales efforts through engaging in specific action plans, presentations, activities and techniques both personally and consultative to secure business.
* Develops strategic solution-oriented sales plans to increase business within key accounts and partners with branch office staff to implement.
* Sells strategic product and service offerings/solutions and negotiates pricing strategy with assistance of Manager
* Partners with Jibe Branch and Branch Manager to enhance/supplement product knowledge needed to close the sale as well as implement the product solution.
* Support driving sales closure to shorten sales cycle and ensure sales goals and objectives are met.
* Analyze prospect requirements and needs to understand how Jibe products and services can be applied to meet these needs and resolve problems.
* Establish contacts in the business community including active participation in local networking events to increase brand recognition and awareness.
* Record all business and sales activity and report weekly to Manager as well as complete required activity reports.
* Respond quickly to all customer and prospect inquiries and needs.
* Troubleshoot and resolve problems or complaints of Jibe customers.
* All other duties that may arise to ensure the successful operation of the company.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Previous sales experience with a focus in consultative and solution-oriented sales approaches.
* Previous staffing experience a plus.
* Exceptional communication, presentation, follow-up, negotiation, and closing skills.
* High school diploma required; or equivalent work experience/education.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet.
* Ability to travel to various customer sites as needed. Reliable transportation a must.
* Ability to work effectively and efficiently independently as well as in a group setting.
* Strong morals and values.
