Personal Lines Insurance - Team Lead
We are looking for a Personal Lines insurance Team Lead to be responsible for managing policy sales and overseeing the sales team. The responsibilities of an insurance sales manager include setting and monitoring sales goals, facilitating the professional development of the team, and providing co-workers and especially customer support.
To be successful as an insurance team lead, you should have strong interpersonal skills, be passionate about providing support and motivation and ultimately, a top-notch team lead should have good customer relations skills, and be goal-driven. Base plus commission and bonus structure!
Personal Lines Insurance - Team Lead Responsibilities:
- Setting and monitoring sales objectives
- Responsible for new/renewal business production
- Assisting/mentoring/recruiting new producers
- Providing sales strategies, feedback, and marketing plans
- Contributing to meeting sales targets
- Keeping up to date with industry developments
- Answering customer inquires
- Mediating questions/concerns with customers and carriers
Insurance Sales Manager Requirements:
- College degree preferred or comparable work experience
- 10+ years’ experience in the personal lines insurance industry
- Demonstrated management experience in a client service environment
- Must have a valid drivers license and the ability to travel to client sites and a reliable source of transportation
- A Property & Casualty License from state of domicile are required and must be maintained
- Solid understanding of policies, products, servicing, and marketing of new and renewal business
- Be able to provide mentorship
- Strong leadership qualities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
