Executive Inside Sales Consultant
Warner Pacific – California
The Inside Executive Sales Consultant is responsible for working in conjunction with an assigned Executive Sales Consultant in high volume territories to maximize sales. This role will also be responsible for recruiting and engaging new brokers to place their group medical and specialty business through Warner Pacific. In addition, the Inside Executive Sales Consultant will conduct training seminars/webinars describing the tools, services and opportunities available to them through Warner Pacific. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Work in conjunction with the assigned Executive Sales Consultant to implement sales strategies and utilizes selling techniques to acquire new medical and specialty business through agents/brokers.
- Support all activity including broker inquiries in alignment with the assigned Executive Sales Consultant, covering duties and assignments while Executive Sales Consultant is out.
- Conducts training and assists agents in the development of marketing plans and lead acquisition including, but not limited to, quoting, and marketing activities.
- Maintain frequent and effective contact with brokers and build active selling relationships to increase sales of all product lines
- Works as a liaison with Product Specialists to increase awareness of the specialty market and to help identify high potential brokers for specialty lines of coverage (i.e. Medicare, ancillary.)
- Prospect new or inactive brokers to find new sales opportunities in alignment with assigned Executive Sales Consultant.
- Make outbound sales calls and follow up calls to active brokers and high potential brokers
- Handle inbound sales calls and product support inquiries written and verbal from brokers
- Demonstrate solid understanding of market factors, carriers, plans, benefits and guidelines in the California insurance landscape as well as the Affordable Care Act
- Make note of potential workflow enhancements and communicate to supervisor for consideration
- Demonstrate consistent, outstanding judgment, honesty and integrity in all aspects of job performance
- Ability to identify and maintain the most efficient process to reach required outcome
- Record all activity in CRM tool (Salesforce) including but not limited to: Conversation, inbound and outbound, email communications, material requests such as brochures, sales materials and kits, quote requests.

Additional Skills and Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent; advanced education or degree preferred
- 5-7 years of health care/medical sales experience preferred
- 5 years proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Valid California life/health insurance license
- Ability to self-start and think/act independently and in concert with co-workers, management and customers
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Exceptional written and oral communication, as well as seasoned presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain and foster positive, open communication channels with internal and external customers, with emphasis on sales force and carrier partners
- Demonstrated ability to think and act independently and to consider all available avenues to obtain desired results for customers
- Ability to perform the majority of required work at the designated Warner Pacific office, 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with flexibility to travel as needed
- Computer literacy with proficiency in the Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint
Compensation
- Salary Range* - $80,625- $107,500 annually.
- Actual compensation may vary from posting based on work experience, education and/or skill level.
- The salary range is the range Warner Pacific in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. The company may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. No amount is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested and determinable under the terms and conditions of the applicable policies and plans. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, benefits, or any other form of compensation and benefits that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company’s sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company’s sole discretion, consistent with the law.
