The Senior Group Sales & Catering Manager plays a crucial role in driving sales by expertly managing group sales accounts and skillfully balancing client needs with business objectives to ensure both satisfaction and profitability. This position demands a candidate with a proven track record in sales within the hotel industry, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of the sales process and its significance in a hospitality environment.

Job Responsibilities but not limited:

  • Preparing and presenting effective proposals, maintaining well-organized documentation and reports, utilizing Marriott Sales systems, including CI/TY and brand resources.
  • Coordinating customer service requirements as appropriate.
  • Implementing innovative sales strategies, fostering strong relationships with clients, and expertly negotiating and finalizing contracts.
  • Selling guest rooms, meeting space, and other services to customer groups, managing accounts, managing site inspections, soliciting, and generating business
  • Preparing and presenting effective proposals, maintaining well-organized documentation and reports, utilizing Sales systems, and coordinating customer service requirements as appropriate
  • Identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to market expansion and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on diverse market segments.
  • Strong negotiation skills and an established track record in strategic sales planning and execution.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and networking abilities.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Capacity to adapt to flexible working hours.
