Job Summary
Smardt has a new exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Service Sales Coordinator within our Service Department. This role is an essential member of our service team, and is tasked with a blend of inside sales, high-level customer service, and sales support.
This position is an onsite fulltime schedule and can be based out of any of the following locations: Dorval, QC.
Responsibilities
- Manage leads and opportunities for new and Smardt Service Center (SSC) compressor quotes, sales, and customer service support.
- Coordinate and address warranty compressor replacement inquiries.
- Liaise with the shipping department for efficient compressor delivery to customers and arrange the pickup of failed compressors until delivered to Smardt Service Center (SSC).
- Generate and follow up on Preventative Maintenance Agreement (PMA) proposals.
- Process service reports from technicians for PMA, Emergency, and Reactive calls; transfer them to quotes if necessary, and send them to accounting for invoicing.
- Create and follow up on service quotes, ensuring completion upon receipt of a purchase order.
- Collaborate with the service operation specialist to assess the availability and schedule of Smardt technicians, assigning Smardt service partners as required. Process purchase orders for compressors, parts, and service quotes.
- Respond promptly to customer calls and emails, addressing needs, answering questions, or directing to appropriate internal personnel.
- Manage the core credit process until the core is entered in NAV (Navision).
- Oversee the timely delivery of new/refurbished compressors to customers.
- Maintain and manage the inventory of new/refurbished compressors.
- Follow up on potential opportunities with both existing and new customers.
- Reach out to relevant parties to secure the renewal of service contracts.
- Input customer/project information into business systems.
- Organize and maintain opportunity/proposal files, both electronically in Freshdesk and manually.
Qualifications
- One-year certificate from college or technical school; or six (6) months to two (2) years of related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have strong communication skills, proactive approach with willingness to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proven experience prioritizing tasks in order to meet tight deadlines within a high paced environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
