Carrier Enterprise (CE) is a national distributor of residential and light commercial Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) products, parts and supplies through licensed HVAC/R dealers and contractors. CE operates primarily in the business-to-business environment where its products are sold through licensed HVAC dealers and HVAC contractors. Summary
The HVAC Account Manager Residential sales oversees residential and contractor sales of various brands of equipment, parts, and supplies. This role will be a crucial influence in securing new contractors and maintaining existing client relationships while being accountable for driving sales and maintaining a strong customer base in their territory.
Duties and Responsibilities: Account Manager Residential Sales
- Analyzing your territory and developing, executing, and monitoring sales programs that will attract competitor accounts and new customers.
- Create and develop long-term relationships with both existing and new customers.
- Manage any customer issues and resolving them in a timely manner
- Serving as the primary point of contact for customers and building long-term relationships with them
- Proactively generating new business opportunities while developing and execute strategic plans to help grow existing customer's business.
- Attending sales meetings with management to review monthly activities and progress or issues.
- Ability to present and manage Watsco Ventures and digital programs.
Required Qualifications: Account Manager Residential Sales
- Demonstrated performance history in sales and new market development.
- Equipment, Parts & Supplies and Light Commercial HVAC experience high preferred
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence.
- Highly motivated self-starter that can manage time independently.
- Strong business/problem solving skills, high sense of urgency and strong communication/interpersonal skills.
- Excel and CRM-Sales Force proficiency preferred.
- Process Oriented with attention to detail.
Requirements: Account Manager Residential Sales
- Minimum HS or GED- Associate or Bachelor degree preferred
- 3 years technical experience HVAC preferred
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Must maintain a positive attitude and have strong customer service
- Must be proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must possess the ability to problem solve and multi-task
