This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm EST or CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.

We offer weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be 8:00am – 5:00pm EST or CST, Monday-Friday.

  • All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage the implementation of assigned accounts and direct structure building and billing set up and contracts
  • Oversee overall employer implementation using various databases and/or source documents
  • Research implementation issues and develop customers specific solutions
  • Audit implementations for adherence to quality measures and reporting standards
  • Manage and be accountable for employees and supervisors
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma / GED or equivalent years of experience
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 5+ years Healthcare industry experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience working in an implementation, Sales, and or account management role
  • Experience working with Financial Protection Products (FMLA, STD, LTD, Life, AD & D, Accident, Critical Illness and Hospital Indemnity)
  • Experience Managing or Supervising employees
  • Experience with computer and Windows PC applications
  • Experience with using Microsoft Word, (create, edit, copy, paste, save, share, etc. in documents), Microsoft Excel (create, edit, sort, filter, manipulate data, and analyze data in new or existing spreadsheets / reports), Microsoft PowerPoint (the ability to create spreadsheets - to sort, filter, and analyze data; the ability to create documents - use of spelling and grammar check; the ability to create presentations - ability to convert into graph / chart to present), and Microsoft Outlook (sending / receiving emails, managing calendars, and scheduling meetings)
  • Ability to work our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm EST or CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project management experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Access (create, edit, format, manipulate databases)
  • Financial Protection Product experience with LTD, STD, Life, Leave management, Critical illness insurance, Accidental & Hospital insurance

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Washington or Rhode Island Residents Only: The annual range for California / Colorado / Connecticut / Hawaii / Nevada / New York / New Jersey / Washington / Rhode Island residents is $88,000 - $173,200 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
