Regional Sales Manager

Pay Range: $85k - $100k/yr DOE

Overview:

As a Regional Sales Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and fostering key relationships within your designated region. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve volume and revenue targets. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams, manage administrative tasks, and ensure exceptional customer support to drive business success.

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Collaborate on sales and marketing strategies to achieve volume and revenue goals.
  • Cultivate relationships with retail and foodservice accounts to drive new business opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends and customer needs to adapt strategies accordingly.

Administrative Duties:

  • Handle administrative tasks such as volume forecasting, sales reporting, and quality checks.
  • Manage collections/credits and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Provide exceptional customer support to assigned accounts within the region.
  • Follow up on purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Liaise with production and operations teams to align sales forecasts with production schedules.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and customer activities to foster partnerships.

Sales Operations Management:

  • Manage customers’ web-based order entry systems and handle sales order creation.
  • Coordinate transportation needs and manage daily changes effectively.

Strategic Planning and Forecasting:

  • Plan and estimate customers’ volume and price requirements.
  • Develop annual business plans to maximize growth opportunities and achieve company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in selling within the Fresh Produce industry preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in sales management and solution selling.
  • Proficiency in CRM applications like PowerBi.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
