Job Purpose:
Working with the General Manager, the AGM is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of the sales team, motivating the team, driving sales target achievement, and “making the magic happen” for the Tom Ford client, each and every day.

- Drive sales achievement vs budget
- Elevate client experience and drive clienteling actions, including development of existing clients and acquisition of new clients
- Coach and develop team, participate in recruitment/hiring of team members, and drive accountability on delivery of targets
- Open and close the boutique; ensure policies and procedures are followed in order to achieve maximum results
Business Leadership:
- Responsible for achievement of annual sales goals across assigned product categories, as well as total boutique goal
- Increase sales and measure sales performance and key KPI’s daily
- Provide and inspire outstanding service to our customers
- Assist in assigning and monitoring sales goals of Sales Associates
- Responsible for driving client outreach, consignment, and appointment setting
- Participate in the preparation of merchandise displays and presentations, exercising independent judgment and discretion in applying merchandising concepts and guidelines
- Train, coach, develop, and lead sales associates in selling skills
- Conduct and/or participate in regular store meetings and Daily Huddles to discuss performance, sales training, product knowledge, merchandising, and to convey other necessary information to management staff and associates
- Facilitate proper communication between management and associates
- Ensure that all Clients experience outstanding service at all times
- Demonstrate sales leadership by playing an active role on the sales floor through customer engagement with top clients, ensuring that the highest level of customer service is provided
- In partnership with GM, develop and execute strategies to retain and develop top-tier clients and high-potential clients
- Assist in execution of company CRM and marketing initiatives by developing and executing action plans with the team
- Drive sell-thru and coordinate product needs with NY merchandising office
- Facilitate transfers to support optimal sell-thru and support zone success
- Minimize stock damages thru strong stock management and ensuring excellence in BOH
- Coordinate and participate in department inventories
- Monitor proper pricing of merchandise
- Oversee compliance of associates with established Company policies and standards, such as safekeeping of Company funds and property, personnel practices, merchandise handling, security, sales, and record-keeping procedures
- Lock and secure the store, and oversee compliance with all security procedures
- Any other tasks as assigned from time to time
- Develop and train associates, build relationships, and develop A-level talent in all retail roles

- Provide outstanding customer service to Tom Ford clients
- Effectively manage sales staff toward achievement of sales and clienteling objectives
- Manage boutique operations effectively including attendance, merchandising, and housekeeping standards
- Help to ensure excellent visual merchandising standards
- Maintain a fair, consistent, and equitable set of standards with regard to team
- Adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner, and listen attentively to others, understand material, and provide instructions to associates
- Operate all equipment necessary to perform the job, including POS systems, PC, phone systems, cash register, and all other office equipment
- At least 5 + years of retail experience required, preferably with at least 2 years of management, in a luxury product setting
- Strong sense of entrepreneurial spirit, initiative, and commercial ability
- Strong knowledge of the luxury industry with fashion sensitivity consistent with the brand
- Strong initiative to propose actions and drive implementation in the boutique, in coordination with GM
- Ability to work multifaceted hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
- Availability to work the hours vital to open and/or close the store
- Ability to maintain presence on selling floor for long periods as needed
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills
- The hiring range for this position ranges from $80,000-$90,000 with bonus potential. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates' relevant skills and experience.
