Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and driven Account Manager to join our pest control team. This role combines sales and account management, with a primary focus on acquiring new clients and building a personal portfolio. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, presenting solutions to potential clients, and establishing long-term relationships.

Unlike typical account management roles, you’ll start without pre-assigned accounts and will be responsible for managing and growing only the client relationships you establish.

Core Responsibilities of an Account Manager

Prospecting and Lead Generation
Client Meetings and Relationship Building
Sales Planning and Territory Management
Negotiation and Closing Deals
Account Management and After-Sales Support
Tracking and Reporting Sales Activity
Collaboration with Internal Teams

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Previous sales experience preferred, but our thorough training will support you.
Valid driver’s license and great driving record.
Excellent communication, problem-solving and presentation skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Proficiency in time management and territory planning
Negotiation and problem-solving abilities
Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to different environments
Ability to work flexible hours, especially during evenings and weekends.
Previous sales experience is a plus
Must have access to reliable transportation for travel within Calgary

Compensation

Training will be provided and compensated.
Base + Commission

Pay: $45,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
