The Role
As a Showroom Sales Consultant, you bring a creative, enthusiastic sales and design approach! You listen to our customers’ needs and help them develop unique lighting design solutions. You give each customer the attention they deserve and ` go the extra mile` to achieve extraordinary customer service. High energy is greatly appreciated as you will be working in a fast-paced environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales and Customer Service
· Present, recommend and sell products to the customers based on their individual needs.
· Follow-up with customers regarding estimates and quotes and keep management informed of daily and weekly work plans.
· Demonstrate a deep understanding of all company policies and procedures.
· Be a proficient user of the sales software and maintain accurate data on the system.
· Show willingness to learn Mclaren Lighting products on an ongoing basis as the industry is always changing.
Showroom Organization
· As the showroom is our main selling tool, you need to maintain the organization, display and cleanliness to ensure that the showroom space is kept to company standards.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); persuasive and influential.
· Time management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines and close sales in a timely manner.
· 2+ years’ experience in sales and customer service setting
· Post-secondary education is preferred
· Professional proficiency with Microsoft Office and having familiarity with a sales software

Pay: $48,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
