Job Description

Inspired by life and the concept of a new science at the frontier between cosmetics and medicine, NAOS is developing its activities in the fields of beauty, health and well-being through its three brands: Bioderma, Institut Esthederm and Etat Pur. Present in 90 countries, the company designs and manufactures its products in Aix-en-Provence (France). Our North American subsidiary, NAOS North America (Canada/US) is looking for an Medical Sales Representative.


Reporting to the Medical Director, your primary responsibilities will be:


BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Develop local action plans based on national and regional objectives ;
  • Analyze results, implement corrective and development actions ;
  • Regularly monitors the commercial performance of Institut Esthederm ranges in order to adjust the local strategy ;
  • Execute go-to-market strategies for new launches and innovations, including presentation and execution in the fiel ;
  • Manage established clientele, with retailers and spa in Canada, in a given geographic area, for a leading brand in the skin care category ;
  • Analyze data and identify business opportunities ;
  • Establish strategies to exceed sales objectives in its territory ;
  • Promote the brand image at store level ;
  • Collaborate with other departments (marketing, finance, logistics) to provide exceptional service to our partners ;
  • Animate, represent, promote and sell NAOS brand products in the territory ;
  • Help our existing partners to optimize their sales through the training of their teams and the follow-up of their sales ;
  • Identify new accounts in line with our strategy and brand image, prospect them, support the opening of the account.

PR ACTIVITIES

  • Plan and execute different types of PR activities clinics and Health Care Professionals ;
  • Develop a close relationship with the Medical Esthetic Opinion Leaders of the territory ;
  • Organize and participate in major scientific events on the territory, as well as in rest of Canada, Europe and US if needed ;
  • Identify high potential HCP to develop them as speakers for the company.

OTHER ATIVITIES

  • In charge of the communication to the dermatologists, pediatrics and GP doctors of different projects as the scientific events, congresses, symposiums…etc ;
  • Share relevant information to develop synergy within the medical team ;
  • Regular reporting of the activities on the field ;
  • Monitor competition by gathering information on their new launches, healthcare professionals’ feedbacks ;
  • Provide competitive intelligence feedback to the hierarchy.

MEDICAL ESTHETIC AND PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE DEVELOPMENT

  • Collect product information from documentation and training sessions, to prepare visits and communication actions ;
  • Continuous training on various medical sales related topics ;
  • Medical knowledge related to dermatology (physiopathology, guidelines, pharmacology…etc) ;
  • Product knowledge (characteristics, avantages, patients benefits) ;
  • Sales argument speech ;
  • Selling techniques ;
  • Relationship Management Skills
    • Continuous training of existing clients and medical/esthetic staff on Institut Esthederm products portfolio and new product.

JOB RELATED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • BAA or equivalent in any significant field ;
  • Great communication skills and interpersonal skills ;
  • Strong relationship management skills ;
  • Results and performance oriented ;
  • Relevant experience in sales/representation/merchandising in the retail sector/DPC, knowledge of distribution channels is an asset ;
  • Possess strong business acumen and have excellent communication and negotiation skills, you are ambitious, demonstrate leadership and possess an entrepreneurial spirit ;
  • Good knowledge of biology, dermatology and/or any related fields of scientific knowledge ;
  • Valid driver's license ;
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office) ;
  • Good team spirit and sense of collaboration ;
  • Excellent customer service ;
  • Autonomy.
