JOB DESCRIPTION
Sales Director (Salaried) REPORTS TO: Executive Director
The Sales Director is responsible for meeting and exceeding the community’s leads resulting in occupancy and revenue targets. This is accomplished through developing internal and external sales & marketing plans that build strategic relationships with referral sources which produce qualified leads. In partnership with the Executive Director, the Sales Director leads the sales function of the external lead generation and ensures continued success.

RESPONSIBLITIES:
1. Maintains and/or improves upon the occupancy level of the community in accordance with the marketing and business plans.
2. Responsible for establishing and growing relationships with physicians, hospitals, case managers and other referral sources that will generate qualified leads.
3. Increase lead volume by assisting prospective residents, their family members, and/or advisors in the decision-making process by understanding their needs and educating them about how services and programs can meet their needs.
4. Follows up with professional referrals timely and consistently to effectively continue the sales process.
5. Responds promptly to inquiries from all referral sources, prospective residents, and families. Provides appropriate community and company information.
6. Consistently utilizes and manages CRM database to advance opportunities.
7. Provides ongoing competitive analysis information; provides real-time recommendations regarding market rates, programs and services.
8. Completes Business Development sales calls/visits to meet or exceed the established expectations as set by the community marketing plan with ED/Home Office guidance.
9. Collaborates with Executive Director and to accurately forecast move-in activity.
10. Develops and maintains strong working relationships with referral agencies.
11. Hosts in-community events and creates opportunities to encourage referrals.
12. Maintains a positive attitude and helps to assure the morale of the community’s staff
remains high.
13. Becomes familiar with all services provided by all other departments in order to discuss these services accurately and objectively with the potential resident/family member.
14. Assures accurate and timely preparation and submission of all required reports.
15. Is responsible for complying with being on-call and serving as Manager on Duty as directed by the Executive Director.
16. Performs other duties as may by assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One (1) or more years of related sales experience. (senior living preferred)
  • Must have outstanding customer service skills and the ability to drive the sales process.
  • Must be highly organize with the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and performance goals.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation to accomplish networking and outside marketing goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
