Scope of Position:

We are seeking an experienced Atlassian Solutions Architect / Administrator with a strong background in managing projects focused on helping companies design, build, launch, and maintain various solutions using the power of Atlassian as a platform to enhance business performance.

As an Atlassian Solutions Architect / Administrator at Zero Motorcycles, you will play a crucial role in building innovative solutions using various Atlassian features and functionalities, with a primary focus on Jira and Confluence. This role will proactively seek out opportunities to leverage and continuously improve upon the application of Atlassian software.

Your work will empower our teams to communicate, collaborate, and coordinate activities that will drive the success of our electric motorcycle and powertrain applications businesses.

This is a full-time position working from our headquarters in Scotts Valley, California.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work cross functionally to design solutions that empower various business units to manage their work in the most efficient manner, with a primary focus on Jira and Confluence.
  • Design and build Jira projects and workflows, focusing on practical and efficient designs and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Develop, document, and coach others on best practices for Atlassian applications, including project configuration and management.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities into projects and how they are used and managed.
  • Find creative ways to increase the Atlassian software user base and expand on application use.
  • Design, develop, and facilitate training for new and existing users as needed.
  • Troubleshoot issues in a timely manner and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of system-related problems.
  • Manage user access control, application permission management, integration, sandbox management, etc.
  • Respond to approved requests for new projects, as well as enhancements to existing projects.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience managing and configuring Atlassian products (Jira Software, Confluence, or other IT ticket management applications).
  • 2+ years of project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for creating highly impactful projects.
  • Familiarity with data security, access controls, and data governance frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Able to perform other duties as assigned.

The salary range for this position is $120,000- $150,000 depending on location and experience
