Salary: $80k - 120k per year + Benefits

The Sales Leader will spearhead revenue expansion by driving new business sales, enhancing renewal retention rates, and fostering a culture of empowerment within the Production Team to bolster growth and profitability. Serving as a key advisor to the leadership team, this role will contribute to the formulation and execution of short and long-term plans and budgets aligned with agency objectives, strategic acquisitions, and growth targets.

Additionally, the Sales Leader will oversee the Production team to ensure alignment of customers' business plan objectives with their insurance programs and services, while implementing consistent policies, workflows, and processes. This position will also involve mentoring "high potential" team members within the office.

Role will be hybrid.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the Production team with a steadfast commitment to revenue growth.
  • Empower Producer teammates through coaching to foster career growth.
  • Collaborate with Profit Center Leaders to develop and implement business strategies, and manage strategic relationships with third parties.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and collaborate with various department leaders.
  • Support the ongoing success of the business development team.
  • Spearhead Producer-in-Training (PIT), Intern, onboarding, and teammate development programs, providing direction and feedback to drive performance growth.
  • Participate in the development of new teammate development programs and initiatives.
  • Cultivate new customer relationships through various communication channels.
  • Maintain strong relationships with carrier partners.
  • Stay abreast of marketplace changes and inform customers and team members accordingly.
  • Advise on Producer plans and assist with Producer renewal strategies.
  • Conduct, organize, and enhance Production team meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of sales experience in employee benefits insurance with a proven track record of building effective sales teams.
  • Thorough understanding of employee benefits products and services, administration, financials, legislation, rules, and regulations.
  • Proven ability to grow and maintain a customer book of business.
  • State Life & Health Insurance License
  • Proficiency in CRM systems.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
