Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Anaplan professional to serve as the in-house Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Atmos, staying up to date with the latest features and championing best practices in model building and support for our financial models while maintaining The Anaplan Way principles. This candidate will assist in leading our Anaplan Center of Excellence.
This person must be familiar with:
- Monitor and maintain integrations to and from Anaplan and maintain data governance.
- Design Anaplan Data architecture and work with our existing systems (Oracle, SAP, Workday, etc) to streamline system and data integration.
- Configure Anaplan modules, list, dashboards, and other model settings to meet business requirements.
- Participate in the definition of Anaplan Model and design and build standards for end-to-end solution architecture across the Anaplan platform.
- Leverage business process knowledge and expertise in Anaplan to guide business process transformation and provide technical direction and architectural guidance in the implementation of large-scale, Anaplan related projects.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree with minimum 3+ years of relevant hands-on Anaplan experience
- Anaplan Certified Model Builder
- Certified Anaplan Solution Architect (preferred)
- Master Anaplanner certification (preferred)
- Experience with Financial Planning and Modeling
- Experience with internal financial systems (preferred)
- Excellent multi-tasking, prioritization, presentation, oral & written communication, and relationship management skills
- Detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities and to meet deadlines under pressure
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and advanced formulas
- Self-motivated, mission-driven, team player, that embraces problem-solving and enthusiastic to learn and grow

Primary Duties
1. Configures business planning system modules, list, dashboards, and other model setting to meet business requirements.
2. Designs and implements solutions for critical business processes on the business planning system platform.
3. Monitors and maintains integrations to and from the business planning system and maintains data governance.
4. Designs business planning system models to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities and streamlines system and data integration.
5. Participates in the definition of the business planning system model and design and builds standards for end-to-end solution architecture across the business system planning platform.
6. Leverages business process knowledge and expertise in the business planning system to guide business process transformation and provides technical direction and architectural guidance in the implementation of large-scale, business planning system related projects, including cross-product.
7. Collaborates with cross functional teams to design and develop solutions, converting complex business problems into technical solutions at scale and partner with stakeholders to develop and track progress of the project to meet metrics.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Educational/Experience Level:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration and three years’ experience in business planning system support; or equivalent.
Communication Skills:
Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers in order to obtain and/or provide explanations and/or modifications on technical or other complex concepts to individuals with little or no background in the area under discussion.
Numeric Skills:
Requires the ability to perform to perform algebraic, trigonometric and geometric operations and/or moderately complex statistical and/or accounting methods.
Computer Skills:
Requires knowledge of various software applications (ie. Essbase and Oracle) to create documents, reports and/or graphics.
Physical Demands:
Requires occasionally performing activities including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and/or lifting.
Work Conditions:
Works in an office environment.
