ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales cycle. You will collaborate closely with our sales, product, and engineering teams to develop comprehensive solutions tailored to meet our clients' specific needs.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Design and articulate compelling solutions to our customers using our products and API services offerings.

  • Engage with recently signed clients in the post-sales process and engage on their implementation efforts.

  • Organize pre-sales demos in conjunction with sales and sales engineering teams.

  • Discuss detailed architecture, design complex solutions, and guide customers to successful infrastructure operations.

  • Act as the technical “voice of the customer” within Apex.

  • Act as the technical "voice of Apex" in the field by presenting technical concepts to technical and c-suite audiences.

  • Act as conduit to product teams by proposing customer use cases for enhancements/functionality to API suite

  • Gain experience with leading technologies built by Apex and our partners.

  • Develop deep expertise in the technology that powers banking, brokerage and advisory.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, engineering, science, or similar undergraduate program or equivalent combination of prior experience required

  • 3+ years of related prior experience

  • Experience in at least one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Python, C#, C++, Go, etc.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to learn languages, tools, frameworks, processes quickly.

  • Ability to understand and grasp customer needs and map it our solution offerings

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners with strong initiative to drive solutions

  • Strong background with developing, testing, and maintaining REST APIs.

  • Understanding of public cloud infrastructure and microservices backend.

  • Familiarity with monitoring/CI-CD/DevOps is a plus.

  • Financial services technology background is a plus.
