Job Summary
We are an equipment manufacturer with over 30 years specializing in automation and assembly products for automotive and non-automotive industries. We are looking for an experienced Director of Sales & Program Management to lead our growing team.
The right candidate will be able to deliver results in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment. The Director of Sales & Program Management will lead a small team to sell our technologies to both automotive and non-automotive customers. The right applicant will develop an understanding of our equipment from a technical standpoint and understand the customers’ needs to drive valuable solutions. This individual will be able to not only sell and manage relationships, but also manage a team that will deliver the projects to the customer.
Responsibilities
- Independently develop and grow new business opportunities within automation and assembly segments, in both automotive and non-automotive markets.
- Manage Sales and Program Management team’s day-to-day activities and contribute to vision and strategy of the sales department
- Support R&D engineering in translating customers' needs into a feasible product
- Work with internal teams to accurately quote new business
- Follow up on ongoing projects and report any related issues and customer requests to the management team
- Monitor business trends, market intelligence, customer attitudes, competitive practices, and product performance characteristics to effectively be able to communicate the state of the business
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in automation and assembly sales, specifically surrounding our core technologies. Preferably with knowledge of - Infrared Welding, Hot-Air Cold-Stake, Ultrasonic Welding, Assembly Cells, and Robotic Integration.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Project management skills to effectively prioritize and collaborate with internal teams
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
