Job Description

  • Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 (dependent on experience)
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9pm. - 5:30am.
  • Basic Requirements:
    • Must be able to work nights, weekends, or other irregular hours as required
    • 5 years of Industrial Maintenance experience

Job Description

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for repairing and maintaining all assets within the production facility. In this role, the Maintenance Supervisor must identify, troubleshoot and repair problems that occur in production equipment and processes.
Project planning for areas of assigned ownership in the plant are also key to this role. Setting priority every year for the supervisor’s direct areas of ownership. Working with direct reports on preventative & emergency actions needed to keep the plant and facility running efficiently.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Communicating what needs to be done and when across 3 shifts
  • Communicating with maintenance team before and after your direct reports start and end their shift to maintain solid communication and next steps within the maintenance team
  • Schedule and plan your teams schedule per your direct areas of ownership and theirs
  • Perform monthly one on one communication meetings with your direct reports. Also complete the associated documentation timely
  • Forecast training needed for yourself and your direct reports yearly to keep a safe, proactive and forward thinking mentality
  • Work directly with maintenance planner and parts room associates to make sure parts are ready in time for projects, work orders and emergency repairs
  • Maintain your direct reports time cards in accordance with our payroll policy
  • Maintain active communication with all plant managers and supervisors
  • Daily computer and email communication is required
  • Maintenance software ownership
  • Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance
  • Generate and complete work orders as assigned
  • Overhaul and install new equipment
  • Rebuild and fabricate parts
  • Manage parts inventory to ensure adequate inventory
  • Perform equipment change-overs and production line set-ups
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas at all times
  • Protect the integrity and quality of products at all times
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • GED or equivalent required
  • 1-3 years of industrial and or manufacturing maintenance leadership preferred
  • Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance or Engineering preferred
  • 5 years of Industrial Maintenance experience required
  • Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) preferred
  • Demonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency with computer applications is a must
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends or other irregular hours as required by business needs
  • Standing for up to 7 hours in one shift
  • Ability to lift 50lbs often
