Job Summary:

As a key member of the sales team, the Dual Director of Sales in a cluster market has influence and accountability for the revenue generation of more than one property. Reporting to the Corporate Director of Sales, the Dual Director of Sales will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of competencies to help the properties to achieve their business goals.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for sales and revenue generation.
  • Responsible for maintaining compliance and remaining up to date on new sales initiatives for the brands and company.
  • You will be actively involved in critiquing the STR reports.
  • Maintain positive relationships with The Harrison Group, property owners, and clients.
  • Support guest experience and satisfaction in all operations.
  • Act as the face of the properties by being actively involved in the local community.
  • Check emails and voicemails daily.
  • Enter all sales activities into Delphi (traces, QIC, lost business).
  • Research and prospect leads.
  • Prospect to set appointments/joint appointments/tours.
  • Proactive sales efforts on new and existing accounts.
  • Act as the onsite contact for all in-house meetings at the hotels.
  • Set-up/maintain group block on group/function schedules.
  • Attending sales training as recommended by your GMs, Corporate Director of Sales.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with Delphi.
  • Ability to make revenue management decisions to effectively grow market share.
  • Ability to produce proactive sales strategies through direct calls, prospecting for new clients, and client visits.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Business Administration, or related field, OR
  • Comparable record of sales leadership experience required.
  • At least three years of sales experience required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Some travel may be required.
