Boston Window and Door dba Pella Windows and Doors, an innovative, dynamic, growing company is now looking for a Junior Sales Associate for the Boston area of Massachusetts. We need a confident, persuasive individual who is focused on details and thrives on a challenge. We provide independence and an exciting, fast paced and fun work environment. This position will require an individual to live within our served market of Eastern Massachusetts.


As a junior sales associate you will spend your first 12 – 18 months between a showroom and field settings learning the Pella selling process, Pella’s products and the sales skills necessary to sell our window and door products. Being a member of the Pella Sales Team, you will have the support from both your manager and fellow team members that will position you for future success.

Once the training program is complete and your manager feels you are qualified you can transition into an outside sales role.


Job Responsibilities of an Outside Sales Rep:


  • Achieve sales goals by providing well rounded solutions and market expertise
  • Devote over 50% of your time to the field by meeting with current and potential customers
  • Develop long lasting relationships with builders, contractors, architects, professional remodelers and trade organizations
  • Capture new business through networking, referrals, and face-to-face meetings
  • Partner with customers to help them grow their business
  • Continually strive for 100% “Very Satisfied” business partners

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University; or 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training including sales/technical product expertise; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A track record of success supported by result and achievements
  • Technologically competent
  • The ability to develop business strategies that lead to a presentation of opportunities and solutions to a prospective account
  • Individual’s motor vehicle record must also comply with company requirements
  • Although not required, some basic construction knowledge will be helpful on your path to success.
