The Hilton University of Florida Conference Center, a distinctive property with 248 guest rooms and 25,000 sq ft of meeting space, seeks a Group Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for a results-oriented professional with a passion for the hospitality industry.
In this role, you will:
  • Oversee and optimize our sales systems (Delphi.fdc)
  • Analyze business intelligence to identify and execute revenue-generating initiatives
  • Develop and manage social media strategy to engage customers and build brand awareness
  • Manage group room blocks and function space to maximize utilization and revenue
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication
  • Partner with the Director of Sales and Catering to secure new business and manage existing accounts
  • Assist with day-to-day sales operations and ensure accurate communication across departments
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hotel sales, with a focus on group business
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and generating new business
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with business intelligence reporting
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and hospitality sales systems
