Dealer Services Sales Manager


Reporting To: VP of Dealer Services

Direct Reports: Yes

Status: Full-Time

Exempt/Non-Exempt: Exempt

Division: Dealer Services


Job Purpose:

Our team is looking for an experienced business-to-business Sales Manage to be a strategic partner in supporting our Dealer Services team. This is a pivotal role that spearheads our Battery Truck team and Call Center teams while partnering with our Operations and Sales teams.


Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages day-to-day operations of battery trucks.
  • Schedules, trains, and coordinates with the Fleet manager for maintenance
  • Enforces safety standards and DOT regulations
  • Hiring and training battery truck drivers, managing their day to day and expenses
  • Creating routes for drivers and adjusting as needed
  • Building relationships with top customers and handling any concerns while increasing market share
  • Ensure inventory levels and counts are done weekly
  • Ride along with drivers
  • Working with the buyer to insure we have the right stock in each truck.
  • Roll out a new process.
  • Support the Call Center Management team
  • Sourcing and training New ISR’s on the OEC process
  • Launch bots for OEC in TPH
  • Recon Batteries
  • Expand Battery Sales into different segments of the Battery Market.
  • Work with DC managers on processes being followed to maintain stock levels.
  • Work with DSM and OSR to drive the program and open new accounts.

Requirements:

  • 4-year degree preferred but not necessary
  • Knowledge of auto parts or automotive industry preferred
  • Excellent Communication and Influencing Skills
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in direct sales, or operations management in a business–to–business environment.
  • Exhibits an intermediate level of familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Environmental/Occupational Health and Physical Requirements:

Typical 9-hour day to include reaching, standing, walking, kneeling, lifting and carrying. To perform the duties of this job the employee must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment. The heavy lifting of 50lbs or more may be required. Employee also share the responsibility to perform routine housekeeping activities such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, restroom cleaning and changing trash can liners.
