Gilead's mission is to discover, develop, and deliver therapies that will improve the lives of patients with life-threatening illnesses worldwide. As a Director, Launch HCP Lead you will be an integral part of a fast paced highly collaborative team, who are on a mission to increase awareness, knowledge, relevancy, and usage of PrEP as part of preventative health for all who could benefit from it. You will be responsible for:
- Drives HCP L4P strategy and leads L4P execution in the US
- Lead adaptation of Global L4P assets to meet US HCP customer needs including lexicon, campaign, and messaging. Includes, but is not limited to:
- Responsible for contributions towards Launch Readiness Reviews, timing, coordination, and execution for HCP strategy
- Contributes to greater PrEP portfolio strategic decisions and makes recommendation on go-to-market choices.
- Leads insight generation and builds a holistic and dynamic view of the market using various sources—recommends trade-off decisions
- Selects appropriate marketing KPIs and drives action toward optimal performance
Manage agency relationships and associated budgets
- Partnering closely with Regulatory, Legal, Medical, CL&D, II&D, Global, L4P Services, and PrEP HCP Marketing
Collaborate with the HIV and franchise marketing teams, medical teams, and sales leadership to ensure a coordinated and appropriate approach to maximize program effectiveness
Evaluate and evolve current approaches and systems (as needed)
Design and deliver presentations to a range of internal stakeholders and external audiences
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and Twelve Years’ Experience
OR
Masters' Degree and Ten Years’ Experience
OR
PhD and Eight Years’ Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related fields is preferred.
- Advanced experience with product lifecycle management is preferred.
- An advanced science degree such as MD, PharmD, PhD or an advanced business degree such as an MBA is desirable.

The salary range for this position is: $221,170.00 - $286,220.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
