Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Roofing Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and business development efforts to meet and exceed revenue targets. Specific Duties, and Responsibilities of the Job

Working closely with Owner and Officers to grow the business and maintain viability. Position reports to the Owner and Officer Board.

Account Management:

  • Establish, maintain, and grow new client accounts.
  • Provide customer service to client list.
  • Upsell based on clients’ properties’ needs.
  • Present reports, data, and estimates/quotes to clients.
  • Close sales.

Estimating:

  • Assist Owner & Officers with roofing estimating/quote needs.
  • Create estimates/quotes for opportunities generated through sales activities.
  • Estimating activities include reading and interpreting building plans to generate repair and maintenance scopes of work, re-roof quotes, and new-construction roofing quotes.
  • Complete other activities as needed for the continued success of the business.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strategic thinking and planning, integrity, passion, people management and in-person presentational skills are essential for this role.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
  • Productivity – ability to work quickly and accurately to meet productivity standards.
  • Teamwork – ability to work with others to accomplish goals; balances team and individual responsibilities; gives and welcomes feedback.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and able to contribute to a team environment.
  • Negotiation skills.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in related field (preferred but not required).
  • Previous experience in Roofing Sales (preferred but not required).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent phone and customer services skills.
  • Must align with our Core Values.

  • Base Salary + commission structure
  • Company vehicle provided with fuel card for business activities.
  • Tools provided to satisfy position requirements; computer, iPhone, office supplies, estimating software, CRM, extension ladder, hand tools, etc.
  • Required use of company provided CRM. All sales activities to be logged.

All standard company benefits available at standard intervals:

  • 1 week (5 days) paid vacation annually after 1 year of service.
  • 2 weeks (10 days) paid vacation annually after 3 years of service.
  • 7 annual paid holidays after 90 days of service.
  • Health insurance options are available after 90 days of service.

Job Type

  • Full-time
  • Monday through Friday standard work week, with weekend work as needed.

License/Certification

  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving history (required).
