R.R. Plett Trucking is a family-owned and operated transportation company based out of Langley, B.C. Our commitment is to provide reliable and honest transportation services to our customer. We have a requirement for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Inside Sales / Logistics Assistant to join our team.
Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Import/export planners on day-to-day issues
- Respond to incoming quote requests
- Work closely with the Logistics team
- Support the billing team in ensuring the correct trip rating
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior dispatch experience would also be an asset
- Experience using desktop applications: MS Excel, Word, Outlook
- Proven commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
- Dedicated commitment to superior, timely internal and external customer service
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, professional team player
- Must be flexible if required to work outside normal working hours
- English is mandatory
- Be willing to cover evening and weekend/holiday shifts as necessary
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From $45,000.00 per year
