Base Salary plus Commission

The National Account Manager is responsible as the single point of contact for all current and prospective direct national partners. This position is driven to leverage ongoing projects, services, maintenance, and other related touch points with Garmat and its operations, distribution, service providers and related entities. The NAM is a key conduit with national account customers and the various functions of the organization that would need to be involved in supporting our customer. The National Account Manager will also be responsible for understanding and working cross-functionally to continuously improve any KPI’s implemented by our national account partners and/or working with our partners on developing a vendor scorecard for Garmat to ensure there is an agreed upon, objective means for rating Garmat as a vendor partner. The National Account Manager will lead any contract negotiations, renewals, or disputes, while collaborating with key stakeholders of the organization as needed. Additional key responsibilities include:

Essential Duties

  • Grows wallet/market share with key National Accounts in targeted markets, while working cross functionally with the Channel Sales Manager and distribution partners.
  • Develops and executes individual, tailored sales plan to grow each national account business, aligning with growth objectives of the company.
  • Manages all direct sale pipelines, including quoting all direct sales, drawing requests, collaboration with the Project Coordinator, ensuring projects are delivered on time and complete.
  • Sales scope includes equipment, parts, filter, IOT solutions, services, and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Meets regularly with key customer decision makers to obtain new equipment sales and/or expand current market share in targeted markets.
  • Leads and conducts regular, consistent customer QBR presentations.
  • Strengthens relationship with National Account partners, in all customers related divisions
  • Handles first level escalation of issues with the account(s), working internally and cross-functionally to resolve and improve going forward.
  • Develops and implements Garmat’s value proposition, as it relates to national accounts, separating Garmat from direct competition.
  • Leads implementation of new technologies offered to the market (i.e. GarmatConnect), and develop commercialized sales strategy, focused on this customer segment.
  • Builds relationships with industry partners, direct and indirect customers in the market.
  • Attends trade shows and industry events from time to time.
  • Maintains and grows National Accounts for markets/specialty/industry.
  • Constantly works to build relationships and goodwill for the company within the industry.
  • Tracks and reports weekly on National Account activities.
  • Tracks and reports on competitive/market intelligence for National Account for the industry.
  • Responsible for making and tracking sales calls, developing, and maintaining sales territory.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing or a related field or equivalent progressive sales experience of 5 or more years.

  • 5 or more years of progressive national account level sales experience in a similar business or industry.
  • Intermediate user of MSOffice (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) as well as CRM tools.
  • The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
  • Technical skills in account growth and sales planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of contracting, negotiating and change management, structuring sales quota goals, and revenue expectations.
  • Prior experience with planning national account sales strategies.
  • Confidence with presenting and communicating with potential sales partners.
  • Must have the ability to take initiative and possess strong problem solving and listening skills
  • Represent Garmat professionally in all aspects when meeting with potential national account partners: appearance, communications demeanor, and behaviors.
  • Proven track record at achieving sales results.
  • Ability to forecast and provide leadership to achieve forecast.
  • Ability to direct efforts to improve market share and identify target markets.
  • Collaborates and clearly communicates individual and team accountability for agreed upon goals.
  • Focuses on national account growth through improved customer satisfaction that leads to higher retention rates.

Ability to travel locally up to 35% of the time. Out-of-state travel may be expected, as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
