Overview

Myriad is looking for an Account Manager who is passionate about improving the lives of patients with prostate cancer risk and/or diagnosis. As an Account Manager for Myriad, you will primarily focus on developing business for Myriad; promoting Prolaris®, MyRisk, and BRACAnalysis CDx to hospitals, hospital systems, large practices, and oncology-specific institutions. The Prolaris® test from Myriad Genetics is the only biomarker test on the market with an Active Surveillance Threshold that has been clinically validated and proven to work in initially untreated patients.

Responsibility

  • Increase revenue by focusing on long-term growth opportunities.
  • Represent Myriad and build relationships with higher-level stakeholders to navigate the complexity of large health systems within BU prioritized accounts.
  • Sets account goals and vision through development and execution of strategic planning, tactical execution, c-suite management, communication plan, account metrics, workflow development, and training.
  • Translate product capabilities into unique and differentiated business benefits that resonate with customer business goals:
  • Utilize market trends, experience and customer and competitive intel to inform product positioning.
  • Understand differentiated strategy & messaging needed to achieve joint organizational objectives.
  • Deliver product value proposition and messaging based on customer needs and business goals.
  • Inform and build consensus across various call points while exhibiting thought leadership and storytelling capabilities.
  • Use collaboration, project management and influence skills to build support and partnerships across the organization needed to scale large accounts.
  • Coordinate efforts with AEs calling on providers within their accounts and bringing in other functions as needed (e.g. Medical, BD, Tech).
  • Implement processes (technology, services) to increase adoption and depth within accounts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Diagnostic Industries.
  • Rheumatology Sales and Diagnostic experience required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated initiative and strong follow-thru skills.
  • Ability to collaborate on projects with other team members.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills required.
  • Candidate must be willing to travel up to 70% of the time.
  • Strong, recent professional references.
  • Sales management experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

Lifting Requirements – sedentary to light work or exerting 10 to 20 pounds of force frequently. Physical Requirements – stationary positioning, moving, operating, ascending/descending, communicating, and observing. Use of equipment and tools necessary to perform essential job functions. OSHA category III – normal routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluid, or tissue and as part of the employment, will not be called upon to perform or assist in emergency care or first aid.
