About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Vice President of Sales to oversee sales initiatives across multiple divisions throughout the state for a leading national homebuilder. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for formulating and executing comprehensive sales strategies while managing and guiding sales teams. Your leadership will drive sales growth and ensure cohesive operation across all divisions, delivering outstanding results in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years as a New Home Sales Vice President, with over 10 years in the new home sales industry, including management of a builder's state or regional operations.
  • Skills: Leadership, sales strategy, operations management, marketing, finance, strategic planning, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Tech Proficiency: Advanced computer skills, including Zoom, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
  • Education/License: A bachelor’s degree is preferred; a valid real estate license is required within six months of hire.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work occasional weekends and evenings as needed.
  • Other: Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current liability insurance are required. A background check will be conducted.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership, Execution & Strategy: Oversee regional sales performance and guide divisional leaders in achieving and exceeding sales targets through tailored strategies that resonate across diverse markets and demographics. Leverage sales acumen to set clear objectives, ensuring each division aligns with company-wide goals. Utilize strategic thinking to make continuous adjustments that enhance operational outcomes.
  • Team Development & Sales Enablement: Actively mentor and develop divisional managers and sales associates through direct feedback, in-person training, and digital platforms, promoting a culture of high performance and morale. Strong leadership and team management skills foster alignment with organizational objectives across multiple teams, while clear communication ensures transparency and coherence across divisions, regardless of geographic separation.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to stay ahead of trends that may impact different regions. Apply market knowledge to make informed recommendations on marketing and incentive programs, enhancing divisional performance through targeted initiatives. Use problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address competitive challenges and guide each division’s strategic adjustments.
  • Model Home & Community Standards: Manage model home coverage and uphold consistent presentation standards across communities, reinforcing brand identity and customer experience. Promote a cohesive culture across regions by respecting local team dynamics while ensuring all divisions represent the company’s values and operational standards effectively.
  • Executive Collaboration: Engage with executive leadership to shape and implement strategic initiatives that support company-wide goals. Apply financial acumen in discussions to set realistic budgets and targets for each division, aligning with broader business objectives. Use performance measurement to track divisional KPIs, addressing disparities in performance to ensure cohesive progress across all levels.
