Marketing Account Specialist
OSG USA, INC. is a leading manufacturer of taps, endmills, drills, and indexable cutting tools. OSG also serves the fastener industry by offering a complete line of thread rolling, flat, cylindrical, planetary, rack, and trim dies. The company markets its products to numerous industries, including automotive, die mold, aerospace, energy, heavy industry, and dental.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Marketing Account Specialist to join our growing team! The Marketing Account Specialist will act as a liaison for our business to support our strategic accounts and internal teams in establishing solid and lasting relationships. The position's primary focus will be to drive and support revenue growth by expanding the distributor’s footprint with OSG. This position will be responsible for overseeing total overall customer satisfaction and managing product and program adoption.
Job Functions for a Marketing Account Specialist :
  • Establishes relationships with strategic account contacts at multiple levels to support and make decisions to drive revenue growth, retention, and satisfaction by building loyalty and trust
  • Manages and ensures accuracy of key accounts item offering, including item induction, data integrity, and product branding
  • Ensures accuracy of distributor pricing, discounts, and terms
  • Track expiring pricing/contracts and participate in the building of new distribution agreements
  • Collaborates on the integration of new programs/promotions for key accounts
  • Manages time and activities to ensure achievement of company and key accounts' established goals and sales objectives
  • Assists in managing the customer unit portfolio utilizing customer relationship management (CRM)
  • Clearly and tactfully articulates problems, investigates escalated issues from key accounts, provides recommendations, and determines resolutions
  • Proactively monitors distributors KPI’s and generates timely reports on key metrics
  • Respond and manage promptly to questions and requests from key accounts and internal teams
  • Works with internal teams to prepare for business reviews and key account meetings
  • May serve as a backup for processing orders, generating and reviewing credit memos
Qualifications for a Marketing Account Specialist:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Experience in customer-facing roles such as customer success, account management, or corporate training
  • Superior organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills with the ability to grasp and interpret information
  • 3-5 years of outside experience on an account management or client success team/framework and/or an operations role with client interactions or internship experience within OSG USA, Inc
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office suite of products
  • Proficiency with enterprise-level ERP & CRM platforms
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Analytical and process-oriented mindset
  • Have a solid grasp of sales metrics, performance measures, and technical indicators
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time
Preferred Qualifications for a Marketing Account Specialist:
  • 1-3 years experience with Microsoft Power BI
  • Cutting tool industry knowledge

Compensation Type:
  • Starting Salary $57K + Quarterly bonus potential
Reports to: Marketing Manager
Job Type: Full-time, Exempt
Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Monday - Friday. Hybrid work schedule working in office Tuesday - Thursday.
