Hotel Sales Manager

Reports to: Hotel General Manager

We're looking for just the right person to join our team in Frisco, TX! Sales Managers are the energetic, positive, tenacious, and competitive force behind hotel revenue and business generation. Responsible for actively soliciting new business, negotiating contracts, communicating client needs, and engaging repeat business, Sales Managers must employ varied strategies to reach aggressive goals and meet the needs of our valued clients.
While this position encompasses a variety of duties and obligations, the primary role is to identify prospective clientele, effectively negotiate and sell a complete solution, support your client needs throughout the process, and book repeat business by exceeding guest expectations. Sales Managers are movers and shakers, they’re the connectors and conduits, they’re active and always on top of it, and they thoroughly enjoy creating personal connections that form long-lasting business relationships through continued memorable experiences!

The Hotel Sales Manager will have overall responsibility and a defined emphasis of goals with conducting sales related activity by proactively discovering and reactively pursing leads for increased revenue generation, occupancy and RevPar index expectations. Some typical responsibilities and position duties would include, but are not limited to:
- Overseeing the retention and acquisition of business accounts by growing existing customer base and generating new business to a level that meets or exceeds sales forecasts.
- Creates, implements, and executes all aspects of the sales and marketing plan to surpass revenue goals. This includes making outside sales calls, in-person when necessary, while maintaining and servicing relationships with current accounts.
- Manages group and volume-based business, including contracts and business-related administrative duties.
- Collaborates with the operations team on the development and execution of sales plans for the hotel, ensuring that revenue and guest satisfaction targets are achieved and optimized. Responds to sales leads, RFPs, and inquires.
- Works cohesively with the General Manager, corporate team and brand-level contacts on programs, processes, and implementations as needed.
- Monitoring and following up on guest feedback and concerns.
A proven background of impact and influence in hospitality sales experience is highly preferred and will assist our candidate with a foundation for optimal success, but we are willing to train and develop the right person who brings the necessary character, professionalism, and the willingness to learn this exciting and rewarding industry. Previous sales-related experience, regardless of industry, is required for consideration.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
