Your role involves formulating and executing effective sales strategies, forecasting sales, overseeing sales personnel, managing relationships with independent agents, conducting field and in-house training, implementing advertising initiatives, and collaborating on product research.
Essential Functions:
1. Establish and achieve ambitious sales goals.
2. Recruit, train, and motivate sales personnel.
3. Oversee comprehensive field and in-house training programs.
4. Develop and execute marketing and advertising strategies.
5. Maintain effective budgetary control over sales expenses.
6. Collaborate with the Sales Engineer to develop new products.
7. Review and adjust sales forecasts based on business conditions.
8. Present forecasts to the General Manager and President.
9. Collaborate with Purchasing to analyze inventory levels and sales trends.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in business management or a related field.
2. Experience in production, inventory control, field sales, and marketing planning.
3. At least 3 years of verifiable experience in sales supervision.
4. Strong interpersonal skills for effective team leadership.
5. Willingness to travel to trade shows and customer locations.
6. Valid Driver’s License.
