Overview - Hiring in Florida and California Markets.
As a Solar Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in promoting renewable energy solutions to homeowners and businesses. Your primary responsibility will be to educate potential customers about the benefits of solar energy and battery storage, Self generate leads, assess their energy needs, and provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements. This position requires a proactive approach to sales, self generating leads and customer service, as well as a strong commitment to sustainability.

Duties

  • Engage with potential customers through various channels, including in-person meetings and online consultations.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of customers' energy usage and needs to recommend appropriate solar solutions.
  • Present and explain solar products and services effectively to clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Utilize software tools, including Salesforce, Subcontractor Hub, for tracking leads, managing customer interactions, and reporting sales activities.
  • Collaborate with team members to strategize on sales techniques and improve overall performance.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, product offerings, and competitive landscape to effectively position solar solutions.

Skills

  • Proven experience in energy sales or outside sales is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership abilities to guide clients through the decision-making process.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus for communicating with diverse clientele.
  • Proficiency in using software tools for sales management, particularly SubcontractorHUB.
  • A passion for renewable energy and sustainability is essential.
  • Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 4 – 40 per week
