Position Overview:
Now Hiring: Technical Sales Engineer
Schedule: Five day work week 7:30 am- 4:15 pm
Location: Vista, CA

Summary:
American Zettler is currently looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to work in our Vista, CA office. What you will be doing:
  • Review prospective customer requirements against ZETTLER product capabilities
  • Work with ZETTLER R&D/manufacturing locations in China and Vietnam on product proposals and specifications
  • Coordinate between ZETTLER factories and customer facing teams (or directly with customers) for successful product introductions and design-ins
  • Assist with product or compliance verification as needed
  • Ability to understand 2D and 3D drawings, power circuit schematics, and technical publications from standards bodies or safety agencies (previous experience required)
  • Familiar with root cause (failure) analysis, data analysis, and quality management concepts
What you will need:
  • Experience of working with electronic component sales teams and Asian suppliers required
  • Five plus years of experience in power electronics or electromagnetic components required
  • Technical engineering degree required
  • Customer and sales team interaction
  • Up to 25% travel in North America
  • Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office
  • Familiar with Adobe Acrobat (PDF tools)
  • Professional approach, utilizing good judgment and creative problem solving (an investigative mindset)
  • Ability to identify growth opportunities and sell ZETTLER product
  • Ability to understand applications and the customer’s needs to cross sell Zettler product
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in group efforts
