As Senior Sales Account Manager you will be responsible for selling strategic service solutions, maintaining and developing relationships with existing key department managers, negotiating contracts and contract renewals and maintaining partnerships that are mutually beneficial. You will be responsible for targeting and cultivating new prospective client relationships with clients ranging from small and midsize companies to Fortune 500 corporations in the greater Piedmont Triad area. In this rewarding role, you will conduct outside sales calls and in person meetings, maintain a consistent pipeline of existing and prospective business, work on development and distribution of marketing materials, conducting market and demographic research, attend business functions/events and group association meetings, trade organization functions and conduct on site business presentations. The successful candidate should enjoy sourcing, networking, developing relationships and have strong follow-through with a determination for results.
Major Goals:
- Development and implementation of outside sales and marketing strategies.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain existing client relationships to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Target, cultivate, and grow accounts through account development strategies.
- Develop value-driven presentations for delivery during tiered strategic client visits.
- Manage client orders and success working with operations team.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through consistent follow up.
- Conduct market research and qualify target accounts within local geography.
- Keep abreast of market dynamics to forecast client demands in territory.
- Attend and participate in meetings, events and functions.
Qualifications:
- BS / BA degree preferred. Will consider relevant work experience.
- Prefer minimum 3 years of strong sales experience within a business to business service industry. Staffing industry experience is preferred.
- Proven track record in sales.
- Strong account penetration and effective sales and marketing background.
- Competitive, energetic and self-motivated professional with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong written, technical and oral communications skills, with proven ability to conduct professional business presentations.
Compensation:
Competitive depends on experience, tiered compensation structure including salary plus bonus, incentives, benefits and travel expenses.
