Job Description
Pay:$2,000/mo salary, plus 2.25% of new and used department gross. Monthly expected commission income $14,000 to $18,000.

Responsibilities
- Ensure customer retention and profitability in the sales department by performing the finance functions of car deals, closing deals, hiring, training, and measuring the performance of salespeople and establishing customer-focused sales standards.
- Structure vehicle deals, including contracting customers, ensuring accurate paperwork and getting deals bought by bank; making necessary corrections and performing resigns, and assumes full responsibility for funding delays.
- Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of your team sales employees, creating and maintaining a strong and effective team.
- Has a strong focus on assisting team in closing all deals.
- Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect sales.
- Assist individual salespeople in setting realistic monthly goals and objectives and provides them with the support to meet these goals.
- Maintain an accurate daily log that reflects all sales activities in the dealership.
- Ensure proper follow up of all potential buyers by developing, implementing, and monitoring a prospecting and sales control system.
- Monitor a follow-up system for vehicle purchasers.
- Provide effective communication throughout the sales department as well as interdepartmentally.
- Ensure that salespeople understand and follow dealership policies and procedures.
- Manage and maintain high rating in customer reviews.
- Work with salespeople on programs that will increase gross profit and F&I penetration.
- Full supervisory responsibility for your sales team personnel, including employee counseling and/or discipline, approving time any absences or overtime and making any recommendations for hiring, terminations, job changes and training.
- Automotive dealership management experience preferred
- Shown success in auto retail sales
- Confirmed leadership ability to mentor and train others
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
