Job Description
What you will do
- Follow up with families who have already had initial conversations with A Place for Mom and been referred and/or toured communities to advise on next steps, with the goal of driving move-ins to our customer communities
- Help guide families to ultimately decide to move into a senior living community working with the families but also acting as the liaison between families in need and the communities or care providers.
- The position is responsible for being an ongoing expert resource to families after they have been referred to an initial set of communities or home care providers.
What will make you successful
Success is measured by reaching daily outbound touch points (calls and texts) to families and communities, scheduling tours at customer communities, sending 2nd round referrals, and converting leads into customer move-ins resulting in achievement of monthly sales targets.
- Possesses a passion for a proactive outreach sales process via both outbound calling/texting/emailing families and communities, demonstrates empathy, excels in closing a sale, and acquires in-depth knowledge of the senior living industry
- Quickly establishes relationships over the phone to understand the needs of a family
- Manages the follow-up sales process including communication with families and customer communities as the family advances through the customer journey
- Understand customer community offerings, resident requirements, and their sales process.
Qualifications
- A sales hunter and closer with 3-5 years of strong sales experience, proactive outreach, and closing skills with the ability to overcome objections in a consultative environment
- History of exceeding sales quota and performance results
- Ability to multitask; simultaneously talk on the phone and take notes on the computer.
- Strong computer and typing skills necessary, including Word and Excel
Additional Information
Schedule
You will work a 40-hour work schedule on an hourly, non-exempt basis. Schedules are set based on business needs, and may include regularly scheduled evenings, weekends, and end of month, along with some holiday shifts during the year.
Compensation
- Hourly Base Salary: $24.76 ($51,500 annually)
- On Target Earnings: $86,500 (Uncapped)
