Job Description:
As a Sales Consultant at Volvo Cars Hamilton, you will play a pivotal role in assisting customers through their car buying journey. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive product knowledge, exceptional customer service, and guiding customers towards the purchase of Volvo vehicles that best meet their needs and preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement: Engage with customers in a professional and courteous manner, actively listening to their needs and preferences to understand their requirements.
Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of Volvo vehicles, including features, specifications, and benefits, to effectively communicate their value propositions to customers.
Consultative Sales: Utilize a consultative sales approach to guide customers through the car buying process, providing personalized recommendations and solutions that align with their lifestyle and budget.
Test Drives: Arrange and accompany customers on test drives, highlighting the unique driving experience and safety features of Volvo vehicles.
Sales Process Management: Manage the sales process from initial contact to vehicle delivery, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for customers.
Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with customers to foster repeat business and referrals, maintaining ongoing communication to address any questions or concerns.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with colleagues in other departments, including finance and service, to provide comprehensive support to customers and facilitate a smooth transaction process.
Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics set by the dealership, demonstrating a proactive and results-oriented approach to sales.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in automotive sales or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm for the automotive industry and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.
