Location: Victoria-based Advertising Agency

Employment Type: Full-time, Hybrid (In-office three days a week)

Salary Range: $60-65k / year

The role of the Account Manager will be responsible for the management and facilitation of a busy team workload. The successful candidate will be an integral member of the Account Service Team, servicing our clients and will work directly with the Digital, Design, Development and Account Service Teams.

This position entails working in a fast-paced environment and the successful candidate must be able to manage tight deadlines, budgets, staff resourcing and will love building client relationships. The position requires someone open to team collaboration who can ensure projects are met efficiently, effectively, on-time and on-budget.

We are seeking someone who thrives in the details and loves planning and creating marketing strategies that bring our clients’ visions to life. The successful candidate will have experience planning, launching and managing traditional and digital advertising campaigns and understands how to communicate with both clients and an internal team to successfully meet client expectations, deadlines and budget allocations.

In this role, you will love wearing many ‘hats’ to meet our clients’ expectations and, most importantly, you will have a great attitude — fun-loving, easy going, with the ability to learn and continually push yourself. A positive attitude is key!

This role is set up to be a hybrid in-office position with the aim of coming into our downtown office three days a week.

ADVERTISING OR MARKETING experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage client communications, project schedules and budgets

· Collaborate with internal teams to design, develop and implement digital and traditional print projects

· Project planning and resource scheduling

· Ability to write creative briefs

· Understand and document project requirements including contact reports

· Manage project change requests and impact on schedules and budget

· Manage and control workback schedules

· Traffic print & digital project workload

· Consult with clients on future project ideas

· Create project/task scoping and cost estimates

Required Experience:

● 2 - 4 years of proven experience in an Advertising Agency or In-House Marketing Team

● Proven experience developing Branding & Strategy campaigns for external clients

● Proven experience managing Brand Identity & Print Collateral projects

● Proven experience managing external partners (Printers, Fabrication, Freelance Creative (including Video & Radio Production, Copywriters, Photographers, Illustrators, Events, etc.)

● Strong communication, collaboration and project management skills - Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks

● Advanced skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint (or Google Business Suite)

● Must have strong verbal, writing, presentation, and analytical skills with attention to detail

● Have experience in the use of modern project management tools

● Love managing client budgets, creating proposals and managing client expectations

● Can work with our design, architecture, and development teams to ensure they are operating efficiently

● Exhibit critical thinking, creative problem solving, and willingness to learn new tools for effective client communication

● Provide clear communication with clients; interpretating and understanding their needs while explaining technical information in business terms
