SalesMuscle™ is retained in the search for a Sales Engineer with an established automation company.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads
  • Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers
  • Displays or demonstrates product and emphasizes value-add features
  • Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained
  • Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts
  • Works with inside sales representatives to keep account activities current
  • Coordinates customer training/visits with vendors regarding product design and application
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers
  • Develops and maintains relationships with customers and vendors
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliverables
  • Attends expos and trade shows

Skill Set

  • 3+ years successful business to business sales experience with electro-mechanical components and systems for semiconductor equipment
  • Proficient understanding of key sales principles and best practices
  • Excellent presentation, written and communications
  • Strong analytical abilities as well as listening, negotiating and persuasive
  • Highly competitive
  • Ability to work independently
  • Disciplined work habits

Education

  • 4-year college degree in Electrical Engineering preferred

Compensation

  • On Target Earnings: 130K+, salary and bonus

Travel

  • This position requires up to 100% of travel in the assigned territory
  • Work is onsite when not in the field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $130,000.00 per year
