Sales Engineer

SalesMuscle™ is retained in the search for a Sales Engineer with an established automation company.
Duties and responsibilities
- Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads
- Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers
- Displays or demonstrates product and emphasizes value-add features
- Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained
- Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts
- Works with inside sales representatives to keep account activities current
- Coordinates customer training/visits with vendors regarding product design and application
- Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers
- Develops and maintains relationships with customers and vendors
- Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliverables
- Attends expos and trade shows
Skill Set
- 3+ years successful business to business sales experience with electro-mechanical components and systems for semiconductor equipment
- Proficient understanding of key sales principles and best practices
- Excellent presentation, written and communications
- Strong analytical abilities as well as listening, negotiating and persuasive
- Highly competitive
- Ability to work independently
- Disciplined work habits
Education
- 4-year college degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
Compensation
- On Target Earnings: 130K+, salary and bonus
Travel
- This position requires up to 100% of travel in the assigned territory
- Work is onsite when not in the field
Job Type: Full-time
