Position Overview:

The Audio-Visual Account Manager is responsible for identifying sales prospects, performing client needs analysis, proposal generation, gross margin determination, client follow-up, negotiation, and deal closing. This position requires strong negotiation and communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members to effectively and efficiently provide industry leading technology solutions. One must possess high energy, be results driven, and have a high sense of urgency.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Target specific verticals to build relationships and sales opportunities.
  • Qualify leads.
  • Perform pre-site visit client needs analysis.
  • Perform site visits collecting all required engineering information.
  • Lead post-site visit engineering hand-off meetings.
  • Review post-engineering bill of materials for accuracy.
  • Generate client proposals and with competitive profit margins.
  • Perform consistent quote follow-ups to maximize the probability of opportunity award.
  • Work tirelessly to close sales by listening to client concerns, responding accordingly, and negotiating a positive outcome.
  • Dress and behave professionally. There are no second chances for a first impression.
  • Use data to drive decisions and improve.
  • Embrace, conform, and live the company’s core values and EOS business operating system.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • 1+ years of selling commercial audio-visual solutions.
  • High school diploma required. Bachelors degree preferred.
  • CTS certification preferred.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-starter who delivers quality work with a high sense of urgency and accountability
  • Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to have tact, patience and courtesy when communicating and interacting with others.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
