VLS is a recognized leader in the sustainability space, with our offerings in Rail, Marine and Waste, we work with leading companies in Chemical, Petrochemical, Automotive, Manufacturing, and other industries. We are looking for a tenacious, results-focused Account Manager for our Hazardous Waste Division to develop a new territory and customer base, support internal sales efforts, and develop creative solutions to client demands.
The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing Company revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and managing sales.
JOB DUTIES
- Responsible for the sales and marketing of environmental services and deep well injection technology to management representatives and technical personnel of existing and new clients in the chemical plant sector (chemical, petrochemical, and industrial plants).
- Develop and present bid proposals to clients relating to toll production costs and scheduling.
- Adequate technical knowledge to be able to recognize Hazardous and non-hazardous waste solutions for clients
- Maintain customer relationships.
- Research and acquire knowledge of the advantages and disadvantages of competitor’s products.
- Assist in the preparation of biannual sales forecasts and budgets.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in related field or experience in lieu of education
- Minimum 5+ years’ direct Sales experience in Chemical, Oil and Gas, waste, and/or Refineries Industries
- RCRA experience
- Previously well-established and strong relationships with management representatives across the country in the Chemical Plant industry.
- Chemistry knowledge A plus
- Travel requirements, 30% to 40% required.
