Area Sales Manager Overview:

As an Area Sales Manager for Five Daughters Bakery, you will be responsible for supervising and developing store managers, developing assistant store managers, lead sales operations, drive revenue growth, drive sales strategies forward, and achieve outlined targets. The role requires strong internal and external company relationships with a passion for excellent customer service in line with our company values.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead, coach, develop and motivate store managers to ensure high performance, store wellness, excellent customer service and achievement of sales goals.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with direct reports, senior executive team, managing partners and key customers.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings with store managers to review performance, provide guidance and address any issues or challenges.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional activities, product launches, and strategies to maximize sales.
  • Coordinate with the production and distribution team to ensure timely delivery of products and assist in resolving any customer complaints or issues.
  • Coordinate with the HR department to make sure company policies are understood, implemented and enforced.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, leadership skills, product knowledge and customer needs through continuous learning.

Requirements:

  • Management and Leadership skills: The ability to inspire, motivate, and guide a team towards achieving common goals and objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information, provide feedback, and facilitate collaboration among team members.
  • Strong decision-making skills to analyze situations, assess risk, and make timely informed decisions.
  • Must have the ability to think strategically, develop and implement short and long-term goals for store managers.
  • Must have a solid understanding of sales analysis and operational efficiency to drive results and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes brought on by company growth with the addition of new stores.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation..
  • Passion for the industry and a genuine enthusiasm for delivering quality products and excellent customer service.

Wage and Bonus Scale:
Annual potential income: $71,000 + Bonus potential based on performance and hitting target goals, $50,000 Base Wage + $3,500 Per Store (up to 8 stores)

According to an annual structure, the following items detail overall compensation
- Annual Salary as Area Sales Manager: $71,000 - $50,000 Plus $3,500 per store (currently 6 stores)
- Bonus potential - annually based on hitting target goals for COGS and Overall Sales Goals.
  • Bonus contingent on KPI targets
