Summary:
The Inside Sales Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of a team of inside sales representatives providing sales support, responding/resolving account needs via phone and email. Managing KPIs and ensuring sales goals are met.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities:
- Supervises, coordinates, directs, and monitors staff activities managing KPIs and Sales Goals.
- Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion and performance goals are met.
- Monitors efficiency and quality efforts of personnel and provides training and coaching support.
- Identifies and resolves consumers’ needs/challenges using defined processes, expertise, and judgment.
- Effectively lead in a changing environment and develop new ideas to support continuous improvement of the inside sales team.
- Maintain high performance standards, resolve day to day issues and ability to manage performance or behavioral issues.
- Control expenses.
Oversee and provide departmental functions as per following:
- Provide sales support to RMs and ZMs
- Supply support on Back orders (BO) to the Supply Chain team to secure BO items and to prevent from product shortages.
- Release back orders daily or as required, obtain a confirmation from the customer before shipping any back orders.
- Request stock transfer from another DC as needed for b/o completion.
- Release future shipment orders according to delivery date required from booking orders.
- Order entry in computer system.
- Distribute copy of Booking to Reps and National Distribution Manager.
- File bookings by member and maintain.
- Ensure correct prices, order reason and payment terms are applied according to programs.
- Invoice corrections.
- Follow tire return policy.
- RMA Management
- Help customer with B2B issues.
- Provide support to National Account queries.
- Provides technical tire fitment recommendations based on industry standards.
- Suggests closest dealer locations to consumers.
- Monitor and report on product quality concerns and emerging trends.
- Respond to, investigate, and report on customer complaints.
- Provide timely and fair judgment to customer Tire issues on Toyo product performance and applications of Toyo product.
- Provide technical information to Sales and Marketing to assist in the sales and promotion of Toyo product.
- Provide training to Toyo and Dealer sales personnel to ensure familiarity with and correct applications of Toyo product.
- Assist with Inventory count.
- Work closely with Sales Managers, Logistics and Warehouse teams.
- All other tasks as per direction from Vice-President or to meet the needs of company growth.
Other Skills & Abilities
- Solid computer skills
- Proficiency in SAP
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Energetic, positive attitude, leads by example, and knows how to motivate individuals and the team.
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to lead team and positively influence customers.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to ensure effective and timely follow-up.
- Ability to quickly get up to speed, acquire knowledge and provide value.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Fully bilingual (English and French)
