Marketing Operations Manager

Pasadena Office ( Hybrid)

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for owning all aspects of marketing operations and defining strategic/operational initiatives. Core functions include executing and optimizing our current campaigns, spearheading our digital marketing efforts, enhancing, and maintaining our website, reporting on top-of-funnel metrics/KPIs, and up leveling the utilization of our tech stack. Along with being the right-hand partner to our Corporate Marketing Director and Regional Marketing teams, you will work in close partnership with the Director of Sales Operations to strengthen cross-functional synergies across the business. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver data-driven insights and identify strategic programs that will improve our marketing effectiveness and drive more revenue more efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Own our marketing systems architecture and strategy, ensuring that actionable insights pass seamlessly between marketing, sales and product systems and develop our future roadmap.
  • Lead our annual marketing planning process, helping connect the dots between goals and budgeting. Lead the vision for our marketing technology roadmap - audit and evaluate our marketing technology stack, including automation capabilities, lead processing, measurement and reporting.
  • Drive data management to increase data integrity and market reach across geographies; own marketing database strategy and data requests (e.g. segmentation, list creation).
  • Work closely together with marketing, revenue operations and leadership to ensure effective processes are in place to actively monitor, analyze, measure and report the health of marketing contribution to pipeline, program ROI, customer acquisition and penetration, contact acquisition and activity.
  • Lead and execute the vision for marketing analytics, defining the measurement framework, including key KPIs and funnel metrics that provide actionable insights to the management team.
  • Develop, implement, and disseminate metrics/KPIs about performance and outcomes through dashboards and data visualization tool sets to monitor business health, including marketing database hygiene, performance integrity and accuracy, capturing insights and making recommendations.
  • Work cross-functionally, collaborating and liaising with stakeholders in marketing, sales, and finance to understand challenges and opportunities that impact the sales and marketing funnel and pipeline. Create presentations at the executive level, contribute to weekly pipeline discussions with regional GMs, marketing leaders and other execs as needed.
  • Administration of our website / CMS, updating content, SEO, and design.
  • Partner with IT / software development team on key projects to improve marketing team efficiencies, launch new programs (such as project tracking software, brand management software, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in marketing operations
  • 5+ years in B2B digital marketing
  • 2+ years managing direct reports
  • Direct experience managing Marketing Operations preferably for a B2B service led organization
  • Experience implementing, administering, and optimizing marketing technology stack.
  • Experience with change management and organizational transformation.
  • Expertise with Salesforce Sales Cloud, HubSpot and or Pardot/Marketo, ABM platforms, Zoominfo, sales Engagement tools and other reporting tools.
  • Experience with WordPress CMS and basic website management
  • Experience with SQL or/and analytical tools is a plus (e.g., Tableau, Looker, etc.)
  • Adept at managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills, a strong storyteller with a passion for influencing audiences
  • Strong ability to manage up and influence.
  • Salary depends on experience between 105-140k plus bonus

Core Competencies:

  • CRM: Salesforce Sales Cloud (admin certification a plus)
  • Marketing Automation: HubSpot (admin certification a plus)
  • Website Development: HTML and CSS coding in WordPress CMS
  • Google Marketing Solutions: Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager, Search Console, etc.
  • Multi-Channel Marketing: experience managing various campaigns such as:
  • SEO & SEM
  • Content Marketing
  • Email Marketing
  • Social media (paid and organic)
