Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead a team of Inside Sales Representatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing the Inside Sales Team, developing and implementing sales strategies, sales coaching and overseeing daily operations. The Sales Manager will also work closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction, and identify areas for improvement.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Manage and mentor an inside sales team of 8-10 to ensure that targets are met
  • Coach and take over sales calls as needed for close
  • Monitoring calls to improve quality, minimize errors and track operative performance
  • Carrying out needs assessments, 1:1’s, performance reviews and cost/benefit analyses
  • Executing performance targets against speed, efficiency, sales and quality for team
  • Ensuring all relevant communications, records and data are updated and recorded
  • Liaising with cross functional supervisors, team leaders, sales teams, to drive efficiency and customer results
  • Reviewing the performance data of team, diagnosing training needs and executing prescribed training sessions
  • Coaching, motivating and retaining staff, coordinating bonus, reward and incentive programs
  • Forecasting and analyzing data against budget figures on a weekly and/or monthly basis

  • Data Analysis: The ability to analyze sales data, trends, and metrics to make data-driven decisions and optimize sales strategies
  • Target Achievement: Relentlessly drive and help the team to achieve their sales targets through positive coaching, accountability and mentorship
  • Problem Solving: The capability to identify and solve issues that may arise within the sales process or team dynamics
  • Adaptability: Being flexible and able to adjust to changing market conditions and sales strategies
  • Metrics Driven: Understands and tracks key sales metrics, such as conversion rates and sales pipeline progression and drives to results.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with sales management software, working knowledge of G-Suite, customer management tools (CRM) and other sales-related tools to streamline processes and enhance team productivity.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 years as a proven top performing sales leader, managing a team of 8 or more reps.
  • 5+ years B2B Inside Sales Experience
  • 5+ years of successfully ramping new hires and ongoing sales acumen development, including creating sales material, scripts, tools, flows, and processes
  • Digital Marketing experience is a huge plus
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
