Job Purpose
The National Sales Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving sales, occupancy, and revenue for True Connection Communities (TCC) This individual will partner with the Executive Director(s) (EDs), Regional Directors of Sales, and Regional Director of Operations to assist in acquiring and closing sales opportunities, developing marketing strategies, encouraging a sales-oriented culture, and focusing on building strong relationships with potential residents to achieve the community's budgeted sales goals. The position will include training new Sales Directors and Sales Counselors and assisting with speed to lead and lead reviews with budget deficit communities.

Duties and Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides onsite hands-on sales assistance to communities without a Director of Sales or without adequate sales support.
- Responsible for nurturing qualified leads on site through entire sales process from inquiry to move-in. This includes accountability for hitting/exceeding benchmark conversion goals of 25% Inquiry to Tour, 35% Tour to Deposit, and 10% Inquiry to Deposit.
- Responsible for setting up community outreach for ED and Sales Team with primary goal of generating qualified referrals.
- Regularly meets goals, including but not limited to: move-ins, inquiries, tours, home visits, phone calls, outreach, sales mail and events.
- Responds to inquiries, scheduled visits, conducts tours and closes sales per sales and marketing goals.
- Conducts daily and weekly review of closing strategies for prospects in the pipeline.
- Ensures customer relationship management system (CRM) is being utilized for all internal and external sales activities.
- Provides Sales Team with new resident and contact information to assist in the move-in process, including all required paperwork, unit readiness and resident requests.
- Participates in scheduled sales calls as scheduled.
- Works collaboratively with Leadership and other department heads to create a positive hospitality-oriented atmosphere for all associates and team members.
- Gives exceptional customer service to residents and visitors, from providing a pleasant greeting to maintaining professionalism and composure in more challenging situations.
- Effectively communicates with residents, families, professionals, visitors, and associates.
- Recognizes and fosters a sales-oriented culture by participating in and contributing toward the sales and marketing efforts.
- Works with Leadership to effectively train, coach, and reward teams.
- Completes all departmental-related reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Works collaboratively with department heads to emphasize the team’s role in sales.
- Attends and actively contributes and participates in participates in company-hosted webinars, on-site meetings, and leadership meetings.
- Position requires 75% travel based on Community needs.
- Champions speed to lead with the communities to achieve a goal of less than 15 mins response time to prospect inquiries, including evenings and weekends, included as part of the rotation for lead pick up for supported communities.
- Assists in the training of new sales directors and counselors.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Three years sales/marketing experience with a proven track record.
- 1-year Multi site experience.
- Excellent communication, customer service and public relations skills.
- Creative, energetic, enthusiastic, patient, flexible, encouraging and team-oriented personality.
- Desire to serve older adults.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Creative approach to achieving goals.
- Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office and other marketing-related and customer tracking software.
- College degree preferred.
- A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and automobile insurance.
Working Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment. This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, scanners, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This job also involves visiting Senior Living Communities, in which case the role will have possible exposure to communicable diseases and infection, exposure to latex, possible exposure to blood-borne pathogens, possible exposure to various chemical, infectious, or biological hazards, and possible exposure to pets. This position requires travel.
