Alexa Translations is a rapidly growing, highly entrepreneurial translation services company. The successful candidate will have access to an office at our current Toronto, Montreal, or Mexico City locations and tools that will allow you to work from home when required (laptop, phone, G-suite).
About the Role:
As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing and expanding relationships with our existing professional translation clients in the legal, financial and securities industries. Your primary focus will be strategically growing and nurturing existing accounts and you’ll be responsible for the full sales cycle. Responsibilities:
- Build, develop, and manage strong client relationships with existing professional translation services clients.
- Managing the end-to-end sales cycle through active prospecting to non-spenders, handling inbound leads, and ensuring effective closure and ongoing retention of clients through proactive outreach for upcoming translation projects.
- Identify and secure product expansion, up-sell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts assigned to you.
- Manage ongoing projects and client relationships with new professional translation clients referred by the Business Development team.
- Perform Quarterly Business Review meetings with your assigned accounts to gather customer feedback and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Handle client objections, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; and follow up to ensure the resolution of client issues or quality concerns raised.
- Demonstrate strategic thinking, handle pressure, and consistently meet sales targets.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in account management within the SaaS industry or professional services.
- Full proficiency in professional-level English and French.
- Subject matter expertise in the financial industry is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage and develop relationships with C-level executives and senior managers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Google Suite (Gmail, G-drive).
- Working knowledge and proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.)
Education:
- College diploma, university degree, or equivalent

- Alexa Translations hours of operation are 9:00 am – 5:30 pm EST, Monday to Friday. The Account Executive will require additional hours of operation and flexibility to be successful in this role.
