We are seeking an experienced professional for the position of Sales Director to drive growth and enhance our business at Walmart. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in driving and enhancing our business. Responsibilities:
- Drive, develop, implement and expand business at Walmart in existing and new areas of product.
- Build on existing and establish new business relationships specifically with Walmart. Maintain professional and collaborative relationships with Walmart buyers and key stakeholders to drive business growth.
- Implement business development strategy for merchandise category, channel and cost structure
- Lead product initiatives by conducting trend analysis, assessing competitive landscapes, and identifying new business opportunities tailored for Walmart.
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with overarching business objectives. Partner with design, merchandising and sourcing teams to align on brand positioning, product offerings, and presentation for Walmart.
Requirements:
- Experience in sales management within the apparel industry, specifically with Walmart.
- Strong understanding of retail channels and customer relationships with Walmart.
- A proven track record of consistently achieving and surpassing sales targets.
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
- A results-oriented mindset with a proactive and strategic approach.
- Proficiency in analyzing market data to generate actionable insights.
- Strong leadership acumen.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Compensation/Benefits:
- The approximate annual base salary range for this position is $120,000.00 - $175,000.00. The offered salary or salary range for this position will vary based on role requirements, skill set and years of experience.
