Hurco Companies, Inc. is looking for a Sales Engineer in the Northern Michigan area, from Grand Rapids and Lansing north.
The Sales Engineer is accountable for supporting sales and providing applications support for customers in assigned region. Responsibilities include developing and implementing territory growth plans, building customer relations, increasing regional unit sales, and supporting product training.
Position Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with prospective and existing customers through selling Hurco CNC machines
- Actively demonstrate Hurco control technology and benefits.
- Plan and perform customer sales calls, assess customer needs, prepare customer quotes, close orders, and follow up on all related activities within assigned territory.
- Monitor, manage, and report sales activities.
Position Requirements:
- 3+ years of Field Sales experience in Industrial / Manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to evaluate product applications and assist customers with product scope, technical description, proposals, and project management.
- Self-motivated, high-energy sales talent with the ability to work independently, with excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to travel to offsite business and customer locations.
